Levels

There are 9 Levels which reflect the perceived difficulty of each word or phrase.

Level 1 is the least difficult through to Level 9 which is most difficult.

Categories

There are 12 different categories of word or phrase which you can select one at a time or several at once. These are:

• People & family, personal, greetings and forms of address
• Food, eating and drinking, animals and plants etc.
• Time, calendar & weather
• Numbers, shapes, sizes and colours etc.
• Clothing and dress, shopping and dining out
• Travel, transportation & movement
• Work, office activities and commerce, education, political
• Social, cultural and artistic
• The senses; Sickness and health, the body etc.
• Domestic and around the home etc.
• Directions, places, geography, nationalities, locations, buildings
• General

Types

There are 6 different types that can be selected.  They are:

• Nouns
• Verbs
• Adjectives
• Adverbs
• Phrases (idioms)
• Unspecified

As with categories these may be selected one at a time or several together.
